Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)

This is one of two versions that incorporate uranium glass, and which re-iterate ecological concerns expressed in many of Peters earlier sculptural works. It questions the wisdom of encapsulating radio-active waste in glass and burying it.

One of these featured on the Channel Four programme, Four Rooms and was sold into a private collection.

The piece also warns of the growing threat of nuclear war in the face of absurd ongoing conflicts around the world.
