Impromptu Chai Tortoise Reading Glasses by Peepers

A warm, milky tortoiseshell in a shape that stays out of its own way. The Impromptu Chai Tortoise is a pair of full-frame readers from Peepers, featuring a classic chai tortoiseshell finish.

Chai tortoise is the softer, creamier cousin of traditional dark tortoise, which makes the Impromptu read as polished rather than heavy. The lightweight frame is comfortable enough to leave on through a long stretch of paperwork.

Flattering against warm and neutral skin tones alike. Available in 4 magnification strengths from +1.00 to +2.75 (+1.00, +1.25, +2.25, +2.75). If you are between strengths or buying as a gift, most first-time readers start around +1.25 to +1.50 and move up from there.
