Individual glass strands, crafted from a type of glass developed by Venetian glassmakers, are carefully placed inside large-scale blown forms with extraordinary dexterity. Some strands are decorated with 24-carat gold lustre, accentuating the intricate internal structures. The drama lies in the precise execution of this seemingly impossible task, where historical Venetian glassmaking meets contemporary imagination, creating luminous, energetic works that mesmerise and captivate.
