Aquarius Portal

Aquarius Portal is a handmade blown glass sculpture from Tim Rawlinson’s Aquarius series, inspired by the ice giant Neptune. Turquoise and deep blue reflect the planet’s colouring, while swirling patterns and amber details capture its storms and atmosphere. Built up in painterly layers of glass pigment and set within thick clear glass, the blown ball of colour takes on the look of an eye, its surround magnifying the pattern within. A unique piece of contemporary art glass, made at London Glassblowing in Bermondsey.
