Snowdrop Woods- Original Painting

It’s always a long awaited treat to see the first snowdrops of the year, pushing their way through the undergrowth- or even snow – of early Spring. The delicate bright white flowers stand out against the carpet of twigs and leaves littering the woodland floor. It seems almost miraculous that something as fragile looking as a snowdrop, can fight its way through the icy, inhospitable earth and emerge so clean and fresh.

This paintingwascreated using Artist’s acrylic paints on a canvasboard.

The painted image is 30 by 40 cm. It is ready to hang and framed in a bespoke “double” frame, making the the outer dimensions of the framed work 45 by 55.5 cm.
