Fluke – Blue

The Fluke Collection represents the result of laboured experiments by James to literally chip hot glass like stone. After perfecting this unusual technique, he produces monolithic objects with smooth lines juxtaposed against fractured edges. Within his works, James often explores our interaction and fascination with ancient artefacts; perhaps it is the untold stories of worship, sacrifice and survival held within them that spark our imagination, or the pure beauty of our ancestors’ craftsmanship.
